Tim's Place Family - Cape Charles

This place was absolutely amazing and the food was excellent, little hole in the wall diner, but so far the BEST food we have had since we have been to Virginia!! Great staff, great customer service!! Lots of tasty food to choose from and all from scratch!! Would recommend to anyone!! Great experience altogether ???

Believe the negative reviews please! While the food was ok at best (I’ve had better, I’ve had worse) it was the waitstaff and kitchen staff that ruined it for us, astoundingly bad customer service and experience. Our waitress had earbuds in and was on the phone having inappropriate personal conversation while waiting on us. Very inattentive, had to ask for utensils twice just to be able to eat our food after it came. At times she was sitting at the bar on speakerphone having these conversations. There was someone in the kitchen sounding like they were vomiting (very loudly) for at least 20 minutes while we were trying to eat. Then the “sick” person came out of the kitchen into the dining room begging the waitress to take her home. The waitress proceeds to bring us our check, and advises us that she may or may not be back before we leave because she has to take the sick coworker home. We won’t be back.

This was the absolute best night! Cheyenne and Ivy took great care of us! The food was absolutely delicious! The live music was awesome. It was overall a great experience! We will definitely be back!

When we got to the restaurant I asked if they were still serving breakfast and the waitress snapped at me and said “no!”. The waitresses all have bad attitudes and poor customer service. We ordered coffee and we’re served with styrofoam cups and not offered cream or sugar. When I asked for cream and sugar the waitress acted very bothered. We placed our order and waited….and waited….and waited. A waitress came by and said “Did you already order?”. We said yes. She went back into the kitchen and came back out to tell us they had lost our ticket and had not been making our food. After sitting there for 45 min we left. The waitresses couldn’t have cared less. There were 2 waitresses and the place is tiny and maybe had 1/2 of the tables occupied. There is no reason that we couldn’t have gotten better service other than they don’t care if they have your business or not. Don’t waste your time!This was on Saturday.

Walked 18mins just to be told my order ticket wasn't even took the kitchen for them to prepare my food. I couldn't wait because I had to catch a ride at a certain time so basically I wasted my time. SO UNPROFESSIONAL
