Palo Duro Trading Post - Canyon

I left trading post after the best breakfast. Whoever thinks it wouldn't be so great, but their breakfast sandwiches are so delicious! I should have known that they were good, because after our trip yesterday we came in and had a cheeseburger and that was great too! Great business and the nicest people are running it. Will definitely be back.

This place had great food and atmosphere with nice people

We went to Palo Duro last week. We stayed here for lunch the first day before our hike. The burgers were AMAZING! Everything was good and cheap. We went back the next day to ride and ended here for burgers again onion rings this time. Yeah, they were so good! We also bought a sweatshirt and two hats together with snacks. Happy to support them!

If you struggle to find a gift shop and plan to go through Palo Duro Canyon, this is the best stop!!!! Rest rooms, immaculate and do not smell!!!! Gift options, sooooo lots of variety and I was shocked by the prices, very affordable!!!! The food was good and service friendly! These toilets but, amazing and spacious!!!! Can't wait to come back

The food was very good, especially after a long hike on the Lighthouse or Rock Garden trails. They have a good variety of souvenirs and clean restrooms. There are a lot of reviews stating the staff are helpful and friendly...not our experience at all. There was one lady that was super friendly and the cook had a good smile on her face, but the rest appeared inconvenienced to be working there. Too many mumbled, terse answers to questions and lack of smiles for me to call friendly . Perhaps it 's New York friendly, but it surely isn 't Texas friendly and we went on several occasions, so if it was bad day sort of friendly it was more like bad week . Nonetheless, we received our food and it was tasty. Unfortunately, the wildlife blind is right next to the Trading Post which means more foot and automobile traffic around the area disturbing the viewing at the blind.
