Bidra med feedbackNice building. Was surprised how big it was, with the downstairs. I'd love to come back during Hall of Fame week, when all is crazy and packed. Going to have to try a music show too. Service was great and food was pretty good. I got the Classic Schnitzel, which was good. The Buffalo Chicken pizza, others in my group ordered, was really good. Jalapeños poppers seemed like they were from a store box and heated up, but with the beer cheese that were good. Will definitely go back.
Service well, teamworkers report to be new rentals. bier selection offer a good choice to choose only one from their menu. eat in order, not stellar. Herbs were baked, not fried, hot, but not crisp. German potato salad was Bland-cooked Mayo-based, without edgy or speck aromen (German? schnitzel ok, knackig, seasoned. herb was unique, loaded with speck- both elements worth repetition. green bean side was overboiled, soft, dose bubble.
Service was friendly. we sat on one standing and he worked the bar so for him both. not very busy in a hot Saturday afternoon. the food comes from the haien of pouring. I would have known that we hadn't waited for a visit for a long time! I had the bratwurst with chips and potato salad and it was so good. hubby ordered a pizza. he said it was good. lemon shandy for me and a gold jacket for him. good beer! had pictures of the speakeasy below with no one in it. we can't wait to see it in action. thanks for lunch!
Pizza was delicious and the beers were cold. Regular fountain drinks were flat or had no taste or too much syrup. But other than that. Great place to go!
We have been trying to get ahold of this place for 6 months now. They don’t return the calls. They read the messages on Facebook and ignore them. I’ve tried. My fiancés mom has tried. We’ve tried being patient because we know Covid has taken a toll on the restaurant world and that it could be short staffed. We were trying to just talk to someone about using the Speakeasy for dinner for around 60 people after a wedding rehearsal that we are having across the street. My fiancés mother stopped in twice and the only person working was clearly clueless on what to even say. He said “oh yeah you have to talk to him about it and it’s $5-6,000 deposit” we had to ask whose him multiple times to even get an answer. He was talking about owner.. The employee said he’d get us a call back Monday. It’s Wednesday now and still nothing. We’ve given up by this point and will be going somewhere better. This used to be such a cool place too, what a shame. I’m sure food upstairs is good but if you’re looking to try and book a party forget it….
