M&s Cafe - Canterbury

They ran out of avocado but sell it at the store next to the cafe. I requested a replacement with salmon for my poached egg on sourdough, but they charged me extra. It would have been nice if someone could have brought an avocado over instead.

Had a vist to m s cafe today , the service was very slow , only one guy doing teas coffees , one poor lady running good around!, she looked out of breath. Cracked teapot lid needs to sort out staffing at bust lunch times ...

The staff did try and worked hard , but getting to the point of service took a bit of time. Likewise the number of tables awaiting clearing and cleaning seemed to pile up and customers were playing with plates to find a table. Once served quality was fine, though the menu did seem a tad limited

Poor visit experience. Fridges bare, approx. 18 min wait in Q, order messed up staff took away table number before order complete. One wrong item had to be changed. Staff didn't even know who had placed the order, and it appeared they were disorganized and under too much pressure.

The staff at this restaurant are always very polite and attentive. They make sure to constantly clean the tables and are always willing to assist, especially since both my daughter and I use walking aids.
