Garage Coffee - Canterbury

While exploring, we came across this charming cafe/coffee shop with a wonderful variety of drinks and pastries. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable.

The staff is lovely and they offer seating for coffee and cakes. My wife really enjoyed her tropical smoothie. The restrooms are located upstairs, which may be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Really looking forward to a good cup of coffee here but foolishly ordered the hand ground one for Not only did this cause a huge delay for customers as the hapless barista tediously ground the coffee beans but was very disappointing when it did...finally arrive. The result: a weak and warm brew served in glass beaker. Wish we had ordered something else as wiser and happier customers were tucking into their assorted beverages. We'll be back!

This is a great little spot in Sun Street offering a range of different coffee options and some amazing cakes. We had a flat white, hot chocolate and a superb brownie and peanut brittle cake sat on the orange chairs/table on the pavement outside watching...the world go by. Very friendly service. It was good to be able to support a local independent coffee roasting business.

We nipped in here with friends whilst staying in Canterbury and would definitely recommend! We had iced coffees, flat whites and a selection of the delicious cakes. Absolutely recommend the mojito cake if it's there! Lovely venue with seating to take half an hour.
