Bidra med feedbackThe Bar Association for Victory! Did the woman get out and couldn't have been happier here! Great drinks, great food and Ashley was a fantastic bartender. Yes, the food takes a while, but it is worth waiting, and that's just more time to drink definitively back to my growing list of restaurants. I had the handmade burger with bacon and blue cheese, an old-fashioned and flying dog fazy IPA. The woman had MA, THE MEATLOAF! and a kinky squirrel Martini.
The food was great! It took a while, but perfection needed time, and MAN, delivered it! Started with a perfect poutine we've ever had. The crab Bisque was similar to those I tried in Connecticut and was absolutely delicious. After all, my entree was the chicken po-boy (feeds white cheddar) and I still remember how good that was. Super crispy chicken, a touch of spices that was not overwhelming, the beautiful acidity of the pimples with the fresh bite of Arugula... perfection. I'd eat 100% again. I'm in love!
Honestly, the best bar in the area! Amazing staff and extraordinary cocktails! Lauren and Jenelle were so friendly and so informative and helpful! If you have not been here, you must try it without a doubt! You will not be disappointed!
The best meat leaf. Hot, juicy and crashed with candied bacon, the meat leaf was a lovely surprise. Even the potatoes were wonderful. It was all served in a large bowl, covered with engraving, paired with a glass of silver mark red, it was a filling, tasty and unexpected gourmet menu. Give them an attempt, you won't be disappointed. (And I make a great meat myself!)
Pricey everything is about $2-3 more than what it should be), but a pretty good hole-in-the-wall The name is misleading considering their lack of knowledge about IBA cocktails they should be called The Martini Association given their focus). On St Patrick 's Day I stopped by for an Irish Coffee as a light pick-me-up, but what I got instead was a mug of coffee mixed with a shot of Jameson and Bailey 's on the side. Disappointing, but par for the course for Greater Pittsburgh suburban bars. Today I tried the meatloaf $14) and a pot of gold martini $9) since they were still doing St Patrick 's Day deals . The meatloaf was good but reminded me of salisbury steak on top of mashed potatoes with two candied bacon strips on top rather than meatloaf expected a tomato based sauce rather than gravy). The martini was more of a sugary drink served in a martini glass than an actual martini. Atmosphere-wise they have some nice garage door-styled windows for air control, and plenty of flat screens featuring sports coverage. There is a small room dedicated to sit-down dining, a bar, and a neat backroom with a shuffle board alongside typical bar games. On average the crowd seemed to be Gen-X aged with some older millenials.
