Sushi Bar Wazakura - Cannes

We discovered Wazakura when we moved into the area and now go regularly for our sushi fix.Can't fault this place at all. The menu is limited but it is very authentic sushi and always fresh and well presented.The restaurant is small but always very cosy and comfortable. And the owner is so lovely! Always friendly and welcoming. The owner prepares all of the food does service but does so very well.Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic japanese dishes with a warm and friendly atmosphere ☺

We’ve been to Wazakura many times, and have always enjoyed the food & the service. In November 2016, the management changed hands. We’ve eaten there a few times since, and we’ve been very pleased. The new owner handles both the service and food preparation, and he does an excellent job at both. The food is of a high quality and the cozy atmosphere is somewhat removed from a typical resto Cannoise. The price is reasonable for the quality and presentation of the food. We will continue to patronize Wazakura.

Took the family for Saturday meal again on TA recommendations , place is tiny with seating for possibly 12 max inside. Good selection but portions of raw fish tiny for price. Service good but also bill quite pricey. Unfortunately felt hungry 1 hr later. We didn't go back

This place offers Japanese Edomae sushi. The sushi prepared by a Japanese chef, was the closest to sushi I could get in Japan, closest among any sushi restaurants I tried in Cannes city centre.If you are looking for sushi using fresh fish with correct treatments, then you will be happier here than other places.

Great food, great service, great price! Wide selection of sushi with vegetarian options. Small place and very attentive friendly service. Would definitely recommend and come again.
