Marra's Way Sushi - Canmore

I absolutely adore Marra's sushi. I have been a loyal customer for years now. The servers and chefs are always very welcoming and friendly. My go-to dish is the Salmon nigiri, which is always delicious.

Quick, affordable (by Canmore standards), and laid-back.

I came across an advertisement in the newspaper for a limited-time all-you-can-eat deal at this restaurant, so my friends and I decided to give it a try. The set price was $24 per person.

My husband, 18 month old daughter and myself went here for supper. It was mostly confusing. They have a "buffet" and ordering off the menu. Items are priced $2.50 - $4.50. The items on the buffet were not labeled, so you did not know what you were eating. My husband took, what he thought was a spring roll. Instead, it was some kind of deep fried batter with rice in it. Our daughter could not eat any raw fish and she did not like the rice. So we wanted deep fried chicken off the menu. Turns out, there was not any that day. So we ordered terriaki chicken instead. The chicken was over cooked, drenched in sauce and the broccoli was old and stale. Nonetheless, it was the worst $35 we ever spent for no food. We will not be coming back or recommending it to any one else.
