Of all the bakeries I 've visited in Spain (many provinces), this is one of the most outstanding. It has fantastic artisan breads (try the Roscas, a large round loaf with a hole in the center, incredible crust and interior crumb), pasteries, empanadas and coffee/mocha type drinks. A mocha (small, not very milky) is a 'veneciana '. We stocked up both before we went by ferry to Islas Cies for the day, and again afterwards to bring back to our rented vacation apartment on Illa de Arousa. Close to Illa de Arousa, in Vilanova de Arousa, there is also a very good small bakery inside the city Mercado which has very good bread and pasteries, but Iglesias is the best!
I loved it. I'm sure I'm going back to the cangas. As for everything I brought from empanadas and sweets to ten, they say in my house. And you're very kind, thank you.
It took a little time to take care of us but there was a moita xente, all delicious and moi boa attention.
I bought several Galician empanadas in this bakery and all were excellent. The place was very clean and the service was fast and excellent.
