La Destileria - Cancún

When we cancun visit every year, we go at least once a week to la distilleria. eating is excellent. they used to bring a tuna dip as a free appetizer. my favorite! and fresh chips and salsa. I get almost always the bullshot steak. and my man loves the molcaheti. Drinks are big and well made. the mariachi performers are always entertaining and the personal is fun and competent. I went on this side to see if I could find a recipe for her warm maiscake. have not found it everywhere. we also bring our guests there and always had a good meal and a good time.

The Spicy Mad Salmon was very good. It wasn’t too spicy for me (and I don’t try to get spicy dishes, I just love salmon). My companion got the Bull Shot Steak. He couldn’t get over how good it tasted. And he is a choosy...eater. We finished the meal with flan. It was a large serving and very, very good! I can’t comment on the alcoholic drinks, but they are likely made with the same excellence and pride their food is. Marco was our excellent waiter backed up by many caring helpers..

Best Mexican food in Cancun! Their margaritas are incredible!!!! Been there many times and never disappoints, service it’s top notch, their rib eye molcajete is delicious. Must visit when in Cancun”

For another larger restaurant to be demolished. sad to see it. was a great location and personal eating were excellent. tequila tour was fun and informative.

The drinks here were excellent and strong! the service was also so attentive and nice. our starter of chips and salsa was beautiful and fresh and warm! I love warm tortilla chips that they are the best ever! the mixed meat mocajete my mannes was great. full of taste and tortillas that came fresh on the side. I ordered the filled chile relleno, but to be honest that they could have done with more taste. the chilies themselves were bland, and the tomato sauce was also. I was a little disappointed at the authentic Mexican court. all in all if I were back, but would stick with the mocajete.
