We had the grouping fish tacs that were pretty good. I have to warn you. there is hot sauce (pico) is made to house and is a haveero soße. a bit to spice for me, but my wife loved it.
Cheaper place with tasteful dining and great atmosphere. they need to try theri tacos with sprouts and fresh orange juise is one must (only 15 pesos.)

We found Cafe Tulum while driving around Cancun looking for something else. We passed it once we were finally lost and hungry enough to try anything. We went back three times, we liked it so much! Sit out on the breezy verandah. You will have an ordinary view of the busy Cancun traffic on Tulum Road, but the verandah is a very pleasant place to be. Friendly waiter and waitress, try their fresh squeezed orange juice. We particularly liked the Oaxacan style pork tacos (served with an very spicy salsa along with some milder salsa - watch out for the brown one, that is the spicy [aka delicious] one). Their empanadas are good too, fried rather than baked. I particularly liked the 3 Cheese one but they're all delicious. The restaurant has a restroom available, as well as inside seating. We drove by around 6:00 p.m. one night and they were closed, so I'm guessing just breakfast/lunch. Total meal cost was $13, including soda, bottled water, orange juices, and our meal. It was delicious enough that if I ever go back to Cancun, I'll definitely go back to Cafe Tulum! Simple but very good fare.It is on Tulum Road just a few blocks from the large roundabout from the North Hotel Zone. Coming from the North Hotel Zone, you will go 280 degrees around the roundabout and take the exit adjacent to the Office Depot store. Drive up the access road that parallels Tulum Road for about three blocks and it will be on the right with a 4' statue of a cook out on the terrace and a blackboard advertising the day's specials out front.
