Soul Cartel - Canberra

No health food stop. You must be hungry as the portions are large and you need to like burgers/Fries/Wings. Delicious food, but too rich to go there very often!

This restaurant may be small, but the portions are huge. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially for larger groups. We had a party of six and we left very satisfied. It's a hidden gem that you wouldn't even notice was there. This place doesn't try to be fancy with extravagant ingredients, they focus on serving simple and delicious food in a nostalgic way. Think old-fashioned burgers from a local diner, crispy chips, onion rings, and thick milkshakes. You will definitely leave with a full stomach. I tried the Bacon A gate burger and it was cooked perfectly, with soft bacon and delicious bacon jam. I also ordered a large portion of chips for the table and it was more than enough for all of us. The staff is amazing and very accommodating, they will customize any dish on the menu for you. Overall, a great find in Canberra!

I was craving a large, indulgent burger and had come across some mouth-watering pictures of them on Facebook. I decided it was finally time to make the trip and try them out. All three burgers were delicious, and the chips were a great side dish as well.

It is hard to find good Po boys in Canberra, but happy soul cartel filled the gap. The food is great, with generous portions and the onion rings are amazing. If you like American style sandwiches, this is a place to try. I said the onion rings are amazing because they are amazing.

We came here for dinner, the food truck park concept is great with variety of cusines to choose from. I ordered the White Buffalo Burger (Fried Butter Milk Chicken, tangy buffalo wing and blue cheese sauce) it was nice. But the stand out for me...was the amazing onion rings! Magnificent!
