Chipotle Mexican Grill - Canandaigua

It's a nice place, foods good, eating area for non take out is usually messy.

Dirty location for it only being 2 yrs old. Fountain drink ice machine wasn't working , and the kids for the soda cups didn't fit properly.

I don't really like to write bad reviews but would like to spare people an experience. This place is so poorly managed. I understand that staffing is diffiuclt, but leaving what was clearly 1 experienced person on with a bunch of others who knew practically nothing seems like pretty poor management choices. The place was dirty, messy, chaotic, backed up. The food was slopped together by someone who clearly was clueless. Felt bad for the one guy who seemed to be the only one who knew anything trying to train and do it all at the same time. The drinks were disgusting, I can't believe they were made correctly in the machines. My kids got drinks and said they couldn't drink them, it burned their mouths. I tasted and OMG how aweful. The food was not edible the way it was put together, we threw most of it away. The trash was overflowing, things were dirty, it was pathetic. I would never go there again, ever. If I could give it a negative number I would.

I used to love this restaurant after going to it so much when we lived in Scottsdale (FLW Blvd). But the Canandaigua location? It's like they aren't even part of the same corporation! The quality of the customer service, portions, presentation of the food, the cleanliness of the store, the list could go on and on. I was shocked after I was told that I could have no vinnegrette because they were understaffed and had no one to make it that day, yet there were about 7-8 crew members literally standing about talking, while the crew on the line scurried about, barely servicing the line of customers that was literally out of their door! CLEARLY the owner of this location does not care about his business to allow it to be run in such a shabby fashion. No manager was in sight. No shift lead. Just astounding to say the least. It makes me leery to eat their food. Scary! They won't be in business too much longer if this keeps up. Canandaigua is a small city and word gets around and this location ALREADY has a questionable reputation. Now you know why. Such a shame too.

Always fills me up no matter what I ordered. Excellent Mexican
