Cheshire Farms Creamery - Canandaigua

This place never disappoints! So many ice cream flavors to choose from, and all made right in house. They also serve the delicious Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters coffee, as well as some fresh baked goods! Service is always great, and the environmentis very inviting. Definitely worth the stop.

Updating my review from 3 years ago. 3 Stars as the ice cream is always good. Some may say the wait is worth it, but to others not. My husband and I got to Cheshire Creamery at 8:06pm on a Sunday evening. We left with our items to go at 8:46. There were 3families that ordered ahead of us and 3 more that were waiting for their orders they already placed by the time we got there.Service is always consistently slow here. It may be the Creamery struggles with staffing as a lot of places are right now,however I can say from experience, service is always slow...even prior to Covid. Maybe it's a scheduling the right amount ofpeople thing. I ordered a twist waffle cone with chocolate sprinkles. The twist initially came out with no sprinkles, so Iasked and the woman who took the order didn't put it on the order. I verified with my husband that I did say chocolate sprinklesand he said yes, I did...any way after the clerk told me it wasn't on the order she put them on there anyway. This was nice. Iwas 3/4 done with my cone by the time my husband got his order of a brownie sundae made the way its on the menu, no special addsor substitutes. There were two men who also ordered brownie sundaes who were a few spots behind us in line. My husband receivedhis sundae well after those two. No apology for the delay, no reason as to why his was given to him last and not in the orderthe orders are placed. I say make your own choice to go here. We have been plenty of times and the ice cream is so good. Serviceis lacking. I think they try. Absolutely adorable with delicious food! The baked goods are delicious and if you visit on a pot pie day you have to try one! The coffee selection is great and the service is always friendly. Totally worth your time to visit here!

I think we've tried every ice-cream flavor by now- they're all absolutely fabulous. The soup, too. The building itself is *maybe* the best part- it always smells so amazing, the decor is fun, and they even have fun little gifts up front. I wouldrecommend everyone who steps foot in Canandaigua visits here- although they already might! Sometimes we try to choose chillierdays to visit since it can get a little busy (rightfully so!

Delicious ice cream and nice atmosphere. We had tree different ice cream flavor- all of them where very good. We?ll definitely come back.
