Backwater Grille - Canaan

Very disappointed. slow service, was not given with appetizers silver or serviettes. were out of a few things we demanded (blue cheese on salat for one). Mgr was super rude and mouthful. has apologized for nothing. we tried to really understand with kovid and family in the restaurant business, but I couldn't deal with the rudeness. the food we got was good..i guess if they are a master guest, they will be better treated.

It's not delivery. my fiancée and I have planned our weekly dinners to order the night in which we would order the veggie pizza (without brokkoli). then we started to cook more, and it was a few months ago, since we had ordered from the backwater. We couldn't decide last week, so we called and ordered our usual. when we took it home, we were more than disappointed. for $11,99 we just picked up a frozen digiorno pizza from the restaurant on the street. Best around! I went to backwater barbecue a month ago with my friends. I enjoyed myself very much and will certainly go back. we had a great meal and it was served with a smile. I had the chicken parm dinner, which was a generous portion, as well as the choice of suppe or salate. the atmosphere was really funny. my friends and I stayed after eating to sit on the bar. great eating and fun that could ask for better, especially if it is on a lake. cant wait till summer! 10 feb, 2012 had a great lunch today with my family house suppee was great along with the daily specialties great view of the sea
