Com Chay Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Can Tho

The menu of the day offers incredibly tasty vegan dishes!

I dined at this restaurant in 2008 and enjoyed several meals there during my 10-day stay in Can Tho. Five years later, the food is still affordable and delicious, with a wide-ranging menu and a friendly family running the place. While they don't speak much English, they have pictures on the extensive menu posted on the wall. There are many dishes to choose from to accompany rice, as well as a variety of noodle soups, all priced at VND15,000. The pho was decent, the hu tieu was good, and the bun cha gio was excellent (highly recommended!). I suggest trying the noodle dishes over the rice options. The food was affordable but it was too strange and oily. We did not enjoy it and felt uncomfortable in our stomachs for hours after. It was an interesting experience but we will not be returning.

We tried this on our last day in Can Tho and glad we did. Just pointed to things in the buffet and all of them were very nice. More tofu and not much (if any mock meat (we prefer the tofu so good! Very cheap! Try the stuffed tofu!

I had com chai, black hot coffee and a few sweet cocks I enjoyed.
