The Lefse House - Camrose

This is a nice friendly place to have a coffee, lunch or dinner. They have a good selection of food choices. They also offer a smaller portion if you want. We had the Aunt Ruby 's reuben and the waffles with lingonberries, both very good. The smell of the fresh baked goods makes eating there even better. Had to take some cinnamon buns and pinwheels home for later. This is a true hidden gem in Camrose Ab.

Really friendly, great simple food. The meatballs are delish! We were a mixed group of ages but there was something for everyone. Very kind and helpful server and the owner was lovely as well!

We three visited in early Sept. at 2 pm. Reception was fast and friendly. The restaurant only has about 6 tables but 2 were empty. Service was excellent. Full meals are about $18 and smaller portions about $13. There is a very good selection. We had a Reuben Sandwich, Swedish Meat Balls, and a half-meal Smoked Salmon plate along with 2 coffees and a soft drink. The meals included dessert along with coffee refills! Everything was absolutely great. (FYI the washroom was immaculate). We very highly recommend The Lefse House for a meal in Camrose.

Unfortunately, we arrived at the restaurant at 3:20, after the meal service had ended at 3. We will have to come back another time to enjoy a proper sit-down meal. However, we did try the delicious cinnamon buns and lefse from the snack menu, which were both amazing.
