Ghiacci Vecchi - CAMPIGLIA MARITTIMA

Great restaurant which is not cheap, but you can eat pretty good. We started with antipasti plate of meat which was really good. The pizza, hamburger and steak were ok, the dolci to end with were very tasty. Good recommendation if you are in the neighbourhood.

Because the restaurant is in a holiday resort, it is open on Mondays. Most decent restaurants in the area are closed on mondays, so this is an ok place to go.

The food here is very good and everybody is welcome here! Even if you are not staying in the resort. Good selection of local wines

Visited without reservation. Bruschetta to start five slices plus olives and peppers. This would have made a lunch on its own. Followed by a very large mixed grill cooked to perfection. Needed a dog as far too much a doggy bag could have been filled. Absolutely no reason food wise why they were not filled, there down fall being on a back road.
