Bidra med feedbackDo not leave campeche without a trip to the beach. long stretch of beautiful beach with access to bathroom and shower. they come during the semana santa and they can look at the manatees sunbath.
Quiet place on weekdays with clear water and almost no waves. entry fee for walk-ins is two pesos per person and they can rent two chairs and a plapa for 20 pesos for the whole day. compare this with 250 pesos per person in playa del carmen. they can take the bus to lerma for 7 pesos per person and only the driver say playa bonita por favor when they return to campeche, they take the bus from the same place they were thrown off as the buses go only in one direction and a loop through lerma and back to campeche. there are 3 restaurants on the beach, but only 2 were open served seafood, huh, beer and refreshments. if they like fish, they do not miss the opportunity to have one of the best pescado asado in yucatan, and the presentation was two to none. you choose your fish before they cook it, and abel will grill it to your taste. super cheap day on the beach. fun!
Campeche is a fishing town, but that doesn't mean they can't enjoy a trip to the beach. bonita (meaning beautiful), is a great place to enjoy the beautiful coast. there is a small fee to come and there will need a taxi ride to get there, but it is worth it. expect their arrival are friendly staff, good eating, drinks, sunbeds and wonderfully outsight. if they are in campeche, they will check this place.
It is closed on Mondays so we had to go to the awful beach bar next to it but could enter Płaya Bonita from there. Don't know how busy it is when open but sitting there when empty and watching pelicans was a great experience. Water's warm and it's super nice to swim there.
Public beach is closed. Guards, keep you off it. Only a small part accessible through the restaurant next door. (02.22)
