Banners Restaurant - Campbell River

We stayed in comfort inn next door and banner were a comfortable choice. the decor is in the necessity of a serious updating, but the eating was good. Soupen were advertised to be made home and they tasted like it. standard burger and pommes....4 stars for eating / service and 3 stars for decor.

My wife and I have visited this restaurant a few times and we have found that it has a cozy, nostalgic ambiance. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick and friendly, with plenty of smiling faces. The food was delicious and there was no shortage of coffee.

The waiter was prompt, friendly, and courteous. The food was average, but lacking in flavor. The decor felt outdated and could have been considered stylish in the 1980s. The restaurant appeared worn and tired, with chipped paint and faded signs. The walls and carpet were not well-maintained, and did not contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. My wife mentioned that the restroom was in poor condition, with torn cardboard and a broken stall. Overall, we would not return to this restaurant, but the waiter helped make the experience tolerable.

My wife and I went to this restaurant on a workday when it seemed to be the only place open. It offers good home-cooked food and the staff is friendly. The food was also decent.

Great diner, very good value for money. Lots of typical diver fare, comfort food available. Service is quick , friendly and efficient. Perfect place to grab a quick lunch while you wait for the ferry to Quadra Island.
