Los Betos - Camp Verde

This is by far the best Mexican fast food restaurant I've ever been to. The Carne Asada used in the Carne Fries is freshly cooked when you order; it doesn’t sit in a steamer. The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating, always making sure his customers are happy and satisfied.

The chef and the cashier were incredibly friendly and kept us entertained while we waited for our food to be ready. Everything served is fresh and well-prepared, plus you can customize the spice level to your liking. The cuisine is reflective of Sonora, Mexico, so while it doesn't represent the entire country, you're sure to enjoy some delicious dishes here. Each plate costs around $10, depending on your selection, and the portions are generous—I had around a fifth of my meal left to take home. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through.

The restaurant is under new ownership for the past month, and the service is exceptional—always a smile from this local family business. This is my second visit, and once again, I had a five-star experience. The food is fresh and abundant. The beef taco meat is tender and flavorful, while the taco bowls are cooked to perfection. If you enjoy good rice and beans, you'll love the combination plate, as it’s generously loaded with them. I also tried the homemade horchata, and it was incredible—definitely the freshest and most delicious I've ever had. Thank you once again!
