Bidra med feedbackWe visit here twice a year usually and I have to say this visit was the best ever. The last two times we drove to St Cécile, the restaurant was closed (even once on the market day during the school summer holidays, which... surprises me), but we noticed a poster in the restaurant that confirmed it closed on a Monday. We are happy to find it open the next day. The Moule are always great, but everything was absolutely spot on, even our 7 years old said it was the best meal she ever had there (and it is the meal she is most happy when she comes from Le Touquet with us). We'll be back soon (but not on Monday)
We have high expectations when we eat and we were pleasantly surprised by this place. The children's menu is quite standard in price and for only anywhere else we had been this holiday. My partner had a steak that was a little fat, but was rarely cooked as she asked. I had a grilled fish with a cheese sauce that was cooked nicely so it was still moist. Between them the children had 'kids' and chicken nuggets. The children's clams were a large part with a small side of chips. There were many mussels and the soup bit was very nice. The drinks for the children were small, but the ice was quite decent. The service was fast and friendly, although we got a woman who couldn't understand my Frenglish, so a colleague came from her and helped. The area is a purpose built 90s sea road, which is a little depressing.
We heard of french friends that Le Marina, a good seafood plate, La Choucroute de la Mer.We went specifically there to eat this dish. Exellent,, fish combination with chouc route, so beautiful real an experience. On a Sunday afternoon the restaurant was full of customers, but the waiter was very friendly and quiet. They also have an exxelent ice cream and coffee. We're going back
I was recommended to go this restaurant for somewhere for good Moule Frites and was not disappointed. I would even go so far that they are the best shells I've ever eaten. The frits were okay, but the shells were lump and meaty and not granular. The restaurant was very busy and a little loud, but I would definitely recommend it for the mussels alone. The Entrecôte was also good. It has no particularly extensive menu, but what they do, they do well and there is a great view over the beach. In the high season I suspect that the restaurant opens to the terrace and reduces the background noise somewhat.
Visited twice in July 2016 and would highly recommend. I was visiting Hardelot and travelling back to Le Touquet and decided to turn off the main road to Sainte Cecile to find somewhere to eat. Lots of free parking and Le Marina is right on...the sea front. I love Moule Frites when on the sea and this is what I ordered. It came very promptly with a cold beer and both the food and service were excellent. So much so that I went back the following day for exactly the same! The restaurant overlooks the sea front and they one day I ate outside in the sunshine and the next when it was too breezy I ate inside. Could not fault any part of the food or service and would highly recommend.
