Chop Chop Noodle - Camden

Review for Chop Chop now known as Bamboo Inn. We went in and asked to be seated and the server (male, middle aged man was abrupt. We sat down and tried to catch his attention as he walked back towards us because he had walked off straight away after seating us. We asked if the garlic sauce was suitable for vegans. Vast quantity of vegetarian options on the menu including garlic sauce. He abruptly said no and walked off again. My husband tried a third time by asking if he could recommend anything vegan on the menu. He replied with, No. No vegans here. We asked, You don 't serve vegans? No. The most bizarre and rude exchange I have ever experienced. If I had read this myself I would think it was a joke, but I read another negative review and I absolutely believe them. What a waste of time, I do not believe they don 't have anything vegan. (Since when was broccoli not vegan, for example? I actually believe they have a rude front of house staff member! Saved our money and spent it elsewhere on a lovely Indian meal instead.

The most outrages place. we were hate crimed and the server proceeded to pour drinks on us and left a note saying don’t ever come back here you faggots.

Why you didn’t inform us you will be refurbishing the place???!!! No good walk too long to find the place closed.... customer knowledge is priority.

I’ve been visiting Chop Chop for years and planned a lunch on Sunday march the 1st. They normally answered the phone and took the message although English was not the strong point. As I got there the place is closed, work is going on to refurbish. good for them but the web page was accessible on Sunday and opening times given ... Completely disappointed that they do not care for regular guests because they know they will have others in such prime location. I’ll bring my guests elsewhere even after refurbishment!

We came across the Chop Chop authentic Asian restaurant opposite Kings Cross station. We went in for dinner and found the food to be excellent cheap good and fast. Service was also friendly and good. Bonus it is a stone’s throw from where we stayed at the Crestfield Hotel. We went back for dinner on another night. Must visit and try.
