Cachao - Camden

This charming little restaurant is located in the picturesque area across from Primrose Hill. The exterior may not be much to look at, but they serve delicious coffee and my favorite American-style pancakes. Their ice cream is also fantastic. While the service wasn't the best, the food more than made up for it.

We were seated promptly in a corner to the right of the entrance as soon as we walked in. It didn't take long for us to place our orders. There was a lot of discussion at our table about short stacks and big stacks. While I opted for the hearty crêpe at the table next to ours, I decided to indulge in a short stack of pancakes with bananas. The others in our group ordered blueberry pancakes and cream pancakes. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos of our food. The pancakes were light and fluffy, tasting similar to Aunt Jemima's mix but without the added ingredients. I also ordered a side of sweet potatoes, which were just as delicious as any sweet dish I've had.
