L'ancora - Cambrils

I went to this restaurant with my family, we sat down and waited over half an hour for the waiter to take our order while watching him take the orders of tables who had come in after us. We asked to order and he told us to wait, then continued to ignore us as he took the orders of yet more people who had come in after us. We sat for an hour and a half then waiting for our food, they brought out 3/6 meals one of which had to be sent back as we had ordered spaghetti bolognese but the plate they brought out consisted of spaghetti, a few small bits of mince and no sauce. We then waited another 15 minutes before asking where the rest of the food was. At this stage the food that had been served as cold. I spoke with the owner and she was by far the rudest person I have encountered, she swore at us and showed no remorse, she did not apologise and spoke rudely of us to the other staff in front of us. She called up “f**king English” , we then told them we were Irish and they laughed and called us “paddy Murphys”. We ended up leaving and going to McDonalds, which was 100x nicer than that hole!!

The worst food i’ve ever eaten in a restaurant in my life. Steak was served cold and tasteless and we were supposed to eat it like that. Pizza was very salty and also the worst i have ever tasted. Staff are literally begging for people to come in. To sum up this restaurant is just trying to look good from the outside but sh im the inside. Very terrible experience.

Me and two friends have eaten here twice so far this week and each time the food was incredible. The pork loin and chicken wings in particular were some of the best I have ever eaten. The staff here are very friendly and most understand English well. Overall it has been by far the best restaurant we have found in Cambrils and we will probably be going again at some point later in the week.

Friendly, welcoming staff, lovely clean restaurant, food was excellent and really well priced. Family of 2 Adults and 2 Children ate here three times over the course of our holiday. Steaks deserve a special mention, finished to your liking via a hot stone placed on your table.

Nice little restaurant on the front.The menu is very good and the food is very well cooked. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
