Bidra med feedbackI thought it would be crowded for breakfast with families in town for college move in weekend, so I made a reservation. I arrived and no one was there (what luck! . It was such nice weather so I asked if our family could be seated outside and was told, you have to order take-out to sit outside, so I said no problem, we will sit inside. Mind you, there was not a single other customer there (I should have been suspicious… . I was escorted, seated, given silverware and menus and then was told many items were unavailable. What items? Food. Excuse me, did you say fruit? No, food. The delivery truck has not yet arrived. So I got up to leave, and the waitress said, you’re not staying? Ah, you just said there is no food here for breakfast…………. Our family left and joined the long lines out the door at Tatte (oh I see, everyone else already knew. Lesson learned!
Decided to try it after only getting tatte for the longest time and the place looks cute for a brunch. I got an almond croissant and a cold brew to go and had to wait for a long time for the coffee when it wasn’t even busy ~12pm on a week day). And I didn’t even get the croissant until I asked for it when the barista handed me the coffee. The people working there was also unfriendly. The almond croissant turned out to be pretty bad too. Go to Tatte instead for much better food and quicker service
I visit Bluestone often for brunch and I got the best service every time.This visit was with my family I wanted them to try my favorite brunch spot. However, I was faced with the worst service I’ve ever had!The waiter took our order and another one got us our drinks. They got us a duplicate of one of our drinks and instead of apologizing they insisted we are the ones that made this mistake and told me that I must’ve clicked it twice when ordering! I told them that’s not possible because the other waiter took our order and we didn’t even use the application! they rolled their eyes and took the duplicate order with them. They then asked my sister about her order and gave her the cup with her drink. After that they came back with the rest of the drinks and asked her again about her order which she was holding in her hands by the time and when she repeated her order they snatched it out of her hand and aggressively threw it in the trash bin in front of us saying it’s the wrong order! Then they asked me if we have anything missing and I told them that we only got our drinks and are still waiting on our food. They rolled their eyes again and told me in the most condescending tone “OBVIOUSLY the food will come later!”.They also kept dropping the plates and cups on the table every time they delivered one making a very loud noise and a very huge mess for us to clean!My family wanted to try Bluestone in their last day in Boston and were very disappointed especially after I told them all of the good things about the place.It felt like they didn’t want us there probably because we’re from a different culture and race! Very inappropriate and racist!!
I got an iced latte with vanilla and oat milk and OH MY GOSH it was so good. I don’t know what they put in their coffee maybe a teaspoon OF PURE HAPPINESS but I liked it a lot. 10/10 would recommend.
First, the staff is lovely and very accommodating. Shoutout to the nice staff! Second, the food was really good. I went there for my birthday breakfast and it was a perfect start to my morning. I specially loved the coffee, it’s very rare that I like both the coffee and food at a cafe so I was pleasantly surprised when my food arrived. I ordered the big Breakfast which was delicious. The only note was that the greens on my dish had a bigger ratio than the other ingredients; it felt like having a salad for breakfast haha. I’ll definitely visit again.
