Milton House Takeaway - Cambridge

The food was lovely. I put four stars because there was a bit to many prawn crackers. I would like eight lrawn crackers not 10.

Use to be so good, but last 3 orders have not been good, items missing when delivered 3 times, and the food really not as nice as it use to taste. Tonight ordered quite a lot, when guy turned up with delivery I asked if all there he said yes, when opened bags 2 fried rice were missing. Took me 10 mins to get through on phone, another 5 mins wasted while they were disagreeing with each other in background. Then asked if I still wanted rice I said yes, but my food that was delivered was getting cold, the elder lady said we bring in 10 mins, so 25 mins after food was delivered we got the rice, and the food was like warm. Bad service and bad customer service. NEVER AGAIN!!

Chicken curry with a bag of salt in it so tasted bad, Chips tasted like had been fried twice. Chicken tasted the same chow main was burnt as. The staff had bad manners as well. DONT BUY FROM HERE

We found the staff unwelcoming. They were all strangely dressed in white t shirts and carried sticks making it look as though they were part of a gang. Our order included their specials FukYuen Fried Rice, which was average, so nothing to write home to mainland China about. The other was the Yuen Long 721 Special Noodles. After eating the food I experienced pangs of pain in my stomach as though I’d been hit with a stick. For this reason I can only give 1 star (as 0 star is not an option).

I have used this takeaway regularly every week throughout the lockdown. It offers a wide choice of dishes, well flavoured, using good quality ingredients and served in generous portions. The online ordering system works well and delivery is on-time and friendly. Crispy duck, roast pork and house special chow mein are the best from a local take away. I have no experience of the complaints expressed by other reviewers.
