Curry King, Cambridge

We weren’t sure about eating here at first as the place was completely devoid of customers when we arrived, however the staff member was extremely attentive and friendly and we did all enjoy our meal. All the place lacked was any atmosphere which I’m sure would have improved had we not been their only customers.

The staff is very attentive, the service is quick, and the lamb bhuna is a must-try! It may be a bit hidden but this restaurant is a true hidden gem that is definitely worth a visit. Absolutely fantastic!

I went to this restaurant for a meal and it was surprisingly quiet, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff members were very welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and the recommendations were spot on. They even packed up our leftovers with extra rice so we could enjoy them later as snacks. Absolutely fabulous, I highly recommend it!

We went to Curry King on a recent trip to Cambridge (August 2022). It was a very pleasant meal, delightful ambience and delicious food. They are recovering from all the COVID shutdowns so the menu wasn't as extensive and it would normally be. That said, everything we ate was wonderful, the restaurant was immaculately clean and the host (owner) was very attentive. This is a good place to go for something a little upscale in Cambridge.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, seen from the pub we were having a drink in whilst deciding where to eat. We were not disappointed, the food was very fresh, tasty and not your average menu. The service was second to none, would definitely recommend and would call again when we're next visiting from Cheshire. Lovely to hear the history of the Curry King.
