Restaurante Praia do Vigario e Snack Bar

On the first day after the arrival to madeira to eat traditional Portuguese food and was surprised to positiw! the great selection of traditional seafood in combination with the view of the sea and the mountains made for a great lunch experience. the personal is. friendly and everything goes smoothly. we returned back here to try other dishes and got the same great experience! would definitely recommend!

We popped into Camara De Lobos to see if we could find this restaurant as we 'd eaten there 7-8 years before. The staff are very welcoming and the restaurant offers a fine view of the sea and Cabo Girao above. We had time for a...quick snack and ordered some squid Salteados and peixe mixte. Both were very good, with the main course came some steamed veg and fried maize. Overall it was good value for money and we 'd love to return next time in Madeira.

Very good food and beautiful location. my man had the cavala ao molho de vilhao. he said it was the best court he had on madeira. vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available.

As we said at funchal that camara de lobos is a traditional fishing village, we decided to go there for the last lunch of our stay. After looking at the reviews of T.A, we decided to stop at praia do vigario. hidden the stairs, they come into a small restaurant with terrace directly above the sea. there was something busy, but the waitress gave us a really nice service with the smile despite the speech barrier. I ordered two appetizers to taste some seafood: whistle and garnel. it was really nice, good portions, prettily set and top on it at really good price. I recommend this restaurant!

I eat here almost every Friday and have the daily menu. For 2 persons that is less then 15.00 euro with a bottle of water!
