Paladares - Camacha

That was one of the biggest surprises we had here on madeira. what an amazing place and incredibly good eating! and don't let us know about the wee, because it's just not a word to describe. a place to visit again...many times in the...too future

We were recommended to paladares by Portuguese friends, it is just so different a experience. it's a great place for knower to buy wein. they choose their bottle of wine from the cabinet and then it is served to their table with a flow. of excellent tapas. we recommend that you arrive early if you want a table, as there are only about 6. when we went at midnight, it was full. They open only on Saturday night, but also offer private evening dinners for about 15 people on week nights. we look forward to trying the next one. we had a great evening to celebrate my husband's birthday and the owner was very helpful.

Madeira is the pearl of the atlantic. but we found a gem in the small town called camacha not far from the capital funchal. what a wonderful surprise is this place. Bienter,warm, inviting with a fabulous wine list selection from portugal and the world. We come here on Saturday evening with a few friends and we had a nice time. the owners Abel,David,Joao (3 brothers) are very accommodating and they had a very good knowledge about the wee. this place has such a sweet and warm atmosphere. we enjoyed some great weine and selection of dips made in tapas style. highly recommended. orlando

Paladares is certainly the most exciting weinbarable with the best weeping and delicious tapas from portugal. the atmosphere is electrifying. the owner, abel, is a very qualified wine connoisseur and the best on madeira island. we had a fantastic evening and we were. very pleased that we were recommended to this fantastic place.
