Le Bout du Monde - Calvi

My wife and I visited calvi for 5 nights during a two week trip around Corsica . Having been to mainland France so many times over the past 30 years finally made it to Corsica . This restaurant and its beach setting is ideal to...unwind after several days driving and sight seeing in the more Mountainous areas of Corsica . We chilled out 3 days on the beach having lunch each day at Le bout du Monde . The manager and his staff are fantastic and food one of the best in calvi . The salads , fish and if you like traditional pizzas all are excellent . Mostly business locals were dining when we were there which is a god advertisement as to the quality . Strongly recommend this place to dine and to chill out on the beach

We came to the place at 3:10 to have something to lunch. but the kitchen closed 10mins early ok. the bar made crepes of 15 o'clock, ok let’s wait...we had to wait 10 minutes, that was the barman told us...ok let’s wait...then we ask for a place to wait...and now we were told that we had to wait 30min for that. they were fucked, so I said a bad sentence to them, and then 5 of them were threatening. zero respect for customers and zero tolerance for non-French, disgusting

We are currently sitting on the beach in le bout du monde, and very comfortable it is. we had a wonderful day here and the most delicious lunch accompanied by a fantastic glass rose (good four actually! . highly recommend this facility when they are here for the day on a cruise ship as we are. amazing eating, friendly service, delicious wine and excellent value for money. merci beaucoup (please apologise to our terrible French! . we will return. 5*

Decor trendy, service good, decent menu but no fixed price menu option, only a la carte very expensive, lovely views across the bay as right on the beach.

We were on Calvi beach yesterday and had a stroll along it during the morning to decide on which of the several restaurants we fancied eating in. We liked the look of this one and went their for lunch. It has an easy vibe with...a subtle jazzy soundtrack. The waiters and waitresses are young and fun. The food was superb from the bread and tapenade through to the grand creme. We will be back during our stay probably a few times. What's not to love nice atmosphere, nice food, good service, brilliant views! Recommend.
