Satay Club - Calumet-Norvelt

We had lunch there because it has good ratings and it's near the Tenleytown Metro Station. The ambiance, service, and food were excellent. Prices are good for what you get. I recommend this place.

Food was great. The wait staff was very attentive. Kinda busy for Saturday evening dinner, but no trouble getting a table.

As a Malaysian, I was really excited about having Malaysian food again. You can find typical Malaysian dishes here such as nasi lemak, char kuey teow and curry laksa. The only drawback for Muslims is that the meat is not halal I stick to seafood based food. This place comes highly recommended by Malaysians residing in DC and I'd say that I was not disappointed. I took my non-Malaysian friends and they loved the food. My friend was severely allergic to peanuts and we requested to remove peanuts but unfortunately they still served the peanut sauce with the satay which was why I gave one less star because it was a concerning situation, but thankfully everything was alright. They also have other cuisines from other Asian countries available if you like more options!

I moved here 3 months ago and this is the best Asian restaurant I've had in the DMV area so far. The roasted duck noodles are amazing and it feels like my hometown. The lamb satay is very addictive.
