Bidra med feedbackBeing owned by other ramen places like Daikaya, and Bantam king I kind of had high hopes for this place. The ramen was pretty bland, presentation was poor, broth seemed cheap and noodles seemed cheap as well. The decor was on point in some areas, but also felt a little tacky. I got the spicy miso and it was just okay, I wouldn't come back for it. However, I would go back to Daikaya or Bantam for ramen over and over again. We arrived early and the person at the front of house was kind of awkward trying to figure out if the could seat us ahead of some other reservations. She kept yelling at a server standing next to her, and after about 5mins of their back and forth they decided to seat us at one of the unoccupied tables. Overall just a very bland experience. I feel like this place either needs to be WAY more casual, or WAY more high end. The vibe it has right now just doesn't match the quality of the decor or the food.
Half of the menu was unavailable. The food was something a bunch of bros with a microwave or toaster oven would make. I don't think they know what they want to be, Hawaiian, Japanese, Indian, fusion whatever?
Everything was delicious! Tomato curry was outstanding and apps were all great: gyoza, fries, poke and the fish fillet sandwich was a delightful surprise! The Just Say Thank You cocktail was perfect and our server was so friendly and gave great recommendations. Loved the ambience and upbeat music a fun Friday date night!
Great place! good food, quiet, affordable, very good service! they left water on the table, so they didnt have to come every 5 minutes offering to fill water glasses (which is something I find annoying.... conversations constantly being interrupted) and waste of water.
I've been here several times but never gotten around to leaving a review and they deserve one! Consistently solid, delicious food! I love the rotating menu of small plates. There's usually a special menu too! The okonomiyaki we had was out of this world. The ramen is also really yummy, and I love that they have a vegan option the tomato curry and it's actually delicious! The dessert menu is creative and fun the Sapporo soft serve was subtle, and really good paired with the butter mochi (amazzzing)! Overall, a really solid neighborhood spot where you can get in on a weekend without booking way in advance!
