Flippin' Pizza - Calumet-Norvelt

This place was great when Jermaine ran it, he was excellent with customers and remembered my name no later than the 3rd visit. My understanding is whoever was above him made the place impossible to staff as they refused to pay more than $15/hr to start, which is the minimum wage in DC now. He worked by himself for a few months and had many interviews, but once the owner or regional manager got involved, those applicants quickly went elsewhere...

This place is tucked away, but near the Spy Museum. The shop itself is not very inspiring, but the pizza was good and the guy serving was friendly and efficient. This hit the spot.

Came here for lunch for a couple of slices of pepperoni. They were pretty good, washed down with some sprite.

Best pizza we've had in a long time and lots of other great food. Friendly and helpful service

This was exactly what I hoped for, delicious pizza reminds me of NYC. We had the Triboro pizza and we were not disappointed!
