Angelos - Calumet-Norvelt

This restaurant has a beautiful patio and outdoor seating; the food is consistently tasty. A suggested improvement is not to use strong floor cleaning products as the smell can too string.

We liked this place. We got the pizza bianca for an appetizer and everyone loved it. The Manhattan is called a Georgetown Martini and it's very good. The service was pleasant. Special thanks to Marcelo, Alexander, and Matt (or Mac? . Everyone was so nice. We tried the lasagna, penne Angola, and the pepperoni pizza. It was all good. The desserts were good too. I would go here again.

I always make excuses to come to Georgetown for this restaurant! For appetizers, I always get the burrata, garlic bread, or calamari. But the MAIN reason I keep going back again and again is for the linguini frutti di marre! Perfect amount of spicy and the seafood is always fresh. The portions are always big enough where I can bring some home as well. It's in the central location of Georgetown and definitely a romantic date destination!

Ambiance is nice and quiet. Would be a good intimate space. I went on a Tuesday night, so could be completely different on a weekend. The service was pretty good, attentive. The host staff was a little awkward I felt like I was being watched for my time there, and I was a little confused on where I should sit. I ordered linguine with spicy marinara and seafood. It was pretty good except the squid texture was over cooked and densely chewy. Other than that the clams etc were very good. The sauce flavor was rich and garlicky with a little heat. Good experience.
