Pizzeria Il Padrino - Calonge

Both me and my my had pasta dishes which were delicious, not too rich, and my mum enjoyed her red wine even though it was chilled. Nice atmosphere, staff were mostly friendly. I’ll put the one moody looking waitress down to a bad day!

My wife and family have visited Padrino for a number of years, it has always been good but over the last 3 years it has become very good excellent. Fantastic service and food, Anna is the owner with other family members who run the restaurant. The fisherman's style rock mussels as a starter, pizza as a main and the beef steak main are all well worth trying. Mommas home made deserts are incredible, cheesecake, brownie and tiramisu (fantastic). I will point out the pizza is home made and takes time to make, don't expect a 2 minute service when they are busy which is most nights, plan to take a leisurely meal (Saturday night in the summer is really busy and it can be hard to get a table, expect to wait for your meal). Great views from the restaurant on the sea front, great place to eat and wind down with a glass of the house red (great price). Relaxing atmosphere, great food and service, looking forward to July when we visit again.

I've been going there for many many years and the food quality is excellent, the pizzas are the perfect size and thickness, the lassagnas are wonderful and the pastas well cooked. On top of that, the interior has been refurbished and now feels more modern and with personality. 100% recommended

Agradable restaurante italiano en el paseo de sant antoni de calonge. el trato ha sido correcto, el ambiente agradable y la pizza rica. hay una gran terraza al aire libre situada en el propio paseo, que hace que el padrino enfermo sea una buena opción para una cena de verano con amigos, familia o pareja. probar las pizzas toscanas, el capullo y 4 quesos, todo genial.

Buenas pizzas, buenas ensaladas y excelente servicio. muy atento y agradable. regresaremos a salvo
