Tajamares Parrilla - Cali

This is one of the oldest and best seafood restaurants in Cali. The Korvina was funky, the shrimp cocktail was average, with an expensive price tag. Save some money, eat super fresh authentic dishes in the Alameda Park area, where the...normal people go.

If you think it looks a little weird stop anyway. The seafood is great and the keviche is worth it.

Let's say you've traveled for a week or two and need a break from street food and the salt / garlic overload you enjoyed in the fine restaurants where you have eaten. This is your restaurant....The food (still not prepared) is fresh and delicious. This quality food is then prepared as it is in your wife / mother's kitchen; no need for fancy sauces or spices, only the good food you desire. The salmon Tony was a large portion of tasteful salmon that was perfectly cooked. The fish was covered with authenticity vegetables, including broccoli, cauliflower, paprika, mushroom, carrots and onions, all grilled exactly right. Simple, delicious, healthy. We also had a seafood cocktail. Again, the seafood was fresh and the sauce was lovely. The restaurant is clean, extra friendly and unpredictable. Next to a house cooked meal we found in Cali. Excellent value for money. Great service.

The fish was covered with honest-to-goodness vegetables including broccoli, cauliflower, bell pepper, mushroom, carrot and onion all grilled just right. Simple, tasty, healthy. We also had a seafood cocktail. Again, the seafood was fresh and the sauce delightful. The restaurant is clean, extra friendly and unpretentious. Nearest thing to a home cooked meal we have found in Cali. Excellent value for money. Great service.
