Bidra med feedbackYou can 't beat the views from this place, you just have to stand and stare as the poem says. When the tour buses go it is also really quiet. Good selection of gifts and pushy but helpfull staff
Their has been some work done to the footpaths and the disability access has been improved. the shop is so stocked with goodies that getting around is difficult with a wheelchair. the hotel restraint was closed and he coffee shop was full and should have been done better. We chose not to stop and eat in the service area and returned to our hotel for afternoon tea.
Location is perfect, large windows permit a great overview over the Valley. Personnaly find the food not so riginal as is ment more for tourists. Anyhow a place to visit and enjoy in special the terrace by sunny weather.
The restaurant is easily accessible by car or tour bus. The ideal place to relax and take in the views to Curral das Freiras. The staff are friendly and the food is a good quality. The shop is also full of all types of souvenirs.
Visiting the Pico do Serrado which is where this is based, is one of my highlights and favoured locations on Madeira. both the journey there and the site itself is one of those completely stunning experiences that you will always remember. the restaurant has been well developed over recent years and has a balcony overlooking the nun 's valley from a height of about 500 feet that is breathtaking and really really beautiful. the staff are great and the only reason i didnt give my rating the top level is that although i found the food to be satisfactory and worth the cost, i did have better at other locations, but i certainly have no complaints. One thing you need to get used to in Madeira is that in their shops the staff do not seem to understand the British need to be allowed to shop without constant interruptions from staff seeking to advise you or encourage you in your shopping, it happens in the shop here and pretty much wherever you go in Madeira. i came to understand that it is just their way, but it put me off somewhat and you need to be prepared for that
