Velvet Cafe - Calgary

Really friendly and accommodating staff. The soup I had was good, not too salty or under seasoned. Cute decor on the inside with the wooden tables and succulents, will be coming back!

Velvet Cafe is my top choice for lunch when I am working from home. While I typically eat at home, I can't resist stopping by Velvet Cafe for a delicious sandwich and tea. The food is just that good! I find myself wondering if they sell their pickles by the jar because I would definitely purchase them.

Velvet is a hidden gem! Unlike many cafes, they make everything in-house from scratch. Treat yourself and make the trip to visit this place. You won't regret it.

Velvet Cafe is a cozy, neighborhood spot that offers a refreshing change from Calgary's trendy, hip cafes. They serve tasty food and beverages in a relaxed atmosphere, albeit a bit worn down. The staff is extremely pleasant and great to chat with (if you're in the mood)! While my soy latte was decent, I found the peppermint mocha to be lacking in mint flavor. However, the cafe is accommodating to vegetarians and vegans.

Great little neighbourhood café. Stopped in for a coffee with my mom on a gorgeous day. The patio wasn't open, but they unlocked it and cleaned off some tables so we could enjoy the unseasonably warm March day. We both ordered cappuccinos and they were very good. I'd visit again, especially given the proximity to home.
