The Unicorn - Calgary

Advertised showing the game. Refused to put on the pre game show and then refused to put on the sound. Great waitress... horrific management...food was average...beer was below average. Only dark beer was Guinness.

On holiday in Canada popes in for a quick drink after a very long flight. Got us two glasses of wine from the bar,found my wife chatting to Mike the night manager. Unfortunately somehow managed to knock my full glass over. What service ,replaced my...glass free of charge ,cleaned up the spill even gave me a clean cloth to dab my cloths. Lovely vibrant feel to the place and the young lady who I got the bill of was so bright and friendly as well . Top notch service.

It wasn't our first time there. We always enjoy going at that pub. The staff is very nice and funny! The food is delicious. The amount of they have is pretty good! Every time we go in Calgary we always stop there! Good place, good...food!

At first I thought the bowl looked a bit small but as I ate it is a bit deceiving and the meal was very filling! I got the dressing on the side as I like to add much less but it was all very good....One complaint about this place is I originally wanted the quesadilla however I cannot have onions and was told everything is pre-made so I couldn't order it. No exceptions which is kind of a bummer for those who can't have a certain food when this isn't a difficult item to whip together! :

This restaurant is situated in the pedestrian area either on Steven Street or Eighth Avenue. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. All dishes were cooked perfectly and the portions are generous. The menu includes a wide variety of options ranging from salads to burgers to full meals. It is particularly popular during happy hours. It is also a great spot to grab a drink and people-watch.
