Bidra med feedbackThe buffet is small enough to keep it fresh, big enough to try some variety. We really enjoyed the aloo gobi, veggie masala, and veggie pakora. Great naan bread. Nice cosy spot. <br/
This past Valentine’s Day we wanted to desperately avoid overpriced and rushed restaurant seating; plus, with so much socializing, my husband and I just wanted to stay home and chill out with each other, watching movies. We really wanted Indian food(and weirdly enough, the night before we both dreamed of eating Indian food, which was quite bizarre . But what are you supposed to do when you just don’t want to leave the house(or even, put on pants?
My husband and I have been to virtually every Indian restaurant in Calgary and this so far is the best value we have experienced. We are not real buffet fans so opted for the menu. We started with pakoras which were decent but lacking salt. Gave this feedback to our server and she was very appreciative that we said something. We also ordered some naan, Palak Paneer and the Muglai Kofta, along with the Peas Pilau. The food came out piping hot and so delicious! The service was very friendly as well. This is a hidden gem that is off the beaten path of downtown. I would highly recommend it!
We've been coming here consistently for years and love both the takeout and in-dining service and food. There are approximately 20 hot and cold buffet options to choose from and the à la carte menu is even larger. The naan bread is cooked perfectly every time as is our favourite dish, the curried lamb (yum! . It used to be a little chilly in the restaurant, however, they've recently renovated and now it's nice and cozy with an updated look and delicious aromas that greet you at the entrance. The staff remember us and are always friendly and welcoming!
