Shikiji - Calgary

Shikiji has best ramen in Calgary and the sushi menu is awesome too! The alcoholic options are authentic and I love the traditional Japanese feel to everything.

I tried the best matcha tiramisu at this restaurant! I will definitely be returning for it. The ramen was okay, I have had better, but the dessert was fantastic.

Ramen was rich and tasty, more sophisticated than the traditional ramen, reminded me of Shiki Menya but actually tasted better as the soup was piping hot. it would be perfect if the noodle could be a little bit softer, but not a big problem. Shrimp Tempura was not bad, either.

Ok wow! I've just died and gone to ramen heaven!! I ordered one of the popular dishes; the Chili Ramen and it was fabulous! It didn't have the egg in it but who cares when it's as magnificent as this?! The broth: homemade and so flavourful. Ingredients are primo. Just wow!The service is 100% on point and the establishment is very clean and modern OH Yes I will be back!!

I've been here twice now for lunch and both times I've had the Chili Goma Ramen and it was excellent both times. This was a dish that I would recommend to anyone if you like mildly spicy food. The place is always busy at lunch but the service has always been friendly and efficient. I will definitely go back to try other offerings.
