Red's Diner 58th - Calgary

I liked very much this place. Atmosphere, FOOD! Service all excellent. Highly recommended but go with time to spare because there lot of people thinking like me during the weekend (i am talking about waiting list)

I do not recommend this any longer. Gone downhill. Flies everywhere, our meals were fair to poor. Had to send part of my meal back. Gravy was like water. Friendly waitress, and a good milkshake, slow service. Used to be so good, unfortunately, we will not return.

The food was 10/10 the service was a 10/10 but when we were there, they were playing rave music and it was really loud! It was a Saturday morning and I couldn’t hear my wife. I felt like I was in a club. I don’t want to sound like a grumpy old man but it really was killing the mood. And eventually they turned it to something different and everyone in the restaurant was thinking the same thing. Maybe I’m the problem, but I’ve been going to reds since 2016 and It’s been my favorite spot. Also the bathrooms were disgusting. But other than that the food is still amazing and the service was good!

Yum. Good fresh food. I had a reds benny. It was well made a great balance of ingredients. I will go back.

Packed restaurant for a weekday lunch, servers everywhere never kept us waiting, biggest portion we had for our whole trip. Charming art from local long-time patrons on every wall. They clearly don't need my positive review, but I wanted to offer it anyways. Bike up the hill and stop there for lunch.
