Ramen Ichinen - Calgary

My family and I visited Nacktby for dinner with our baby. While not the most baby-friendly in terms of changing facilities, we made it work. The restaurant had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, was clean, and we found our dining experience very comfortable. The ramen dishes we ordered were amazing. I had the black garlic broth, while my husband opted for one with Level 3 spices. The chashu was incredibly tender, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes generous. However, we felt the need to order an appetizer to feel completely satisfied. The gyoza we tried were some of the best we've had. I enjoyed a large cup of Sencha tea, while my husband had his favorite beer, Asahi. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

During our family holiday, we made a stop in Calgary and were thrilled that we did! The staff was incredibly friendly and the dishes were fantastic. We all ordered something different and thoroughly enjoyed our meals, from the appetizers to the entrées and dessert of Matcha ice cream.

The ramen here is not top-notch. The broth lacks flavor and could benefit from some added MSG. Avoid choosing thin noodles if you want to have a more satisfying experience. However, the chicken karaage is delicious.

This raven site is operated by Japanese and offers authentic ramens. Very recommend their gyoza, very juicy. They emphasize that they do not put the MSG in their rams. Good customer service. Appropriate prices. Remember to finish the soup, this is Japanese culture. Let's go.

My friend and I were visiting Calgary and stayed in the NE airport area. This restaurant was right across the street. I had the black ramen soup and my friend had the red ramen soup. Big bowls, nice thick peice of pork and plenty of...noodles (we added the free half portion and probably could've done without). Food was delicious and the staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend if you're crazy for ramen, they do it right.
