This place is a gem. When I arrived in Calgary from BC 7 years ago I googled 'world music in calgary ' Kawa came up. I 've been playing music here every month. Les is a real supporter of musicians in Calgary. he has been respectful and knows good music. The food and selection of drinks is extensive and really great.
Beautiful, cosmopolitan atmosphere, excellent friendly service, high-quality menu items, worldly live music, this is one of my favourite cafes in the city.
