The Italian Supermarket - Calgary

Wow...every time is the best experience ever. The women in the food section of the restaurant are the sweetest people. Especially the lady who bakes the pizzas is a standout. She always calls me "mister" haha... The pizzas are the best, the cakes are delicious, and the coffee is rich. And the prices are unbelievably cheap. I will definitely come back and it's the only place where I double my bill as a tip. Thank you all and keep up the great work.

Recently on June 18, 2022, I visited the deli department at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Cindy helped me choose the best cuts of meat and even let me sample them before making a purchase. She also provided excellent cheese recommendations that I can't wait to try at home. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant frequently. They have a large selection of dry goods, delicious freshly baked pastries, and homemade dishes like chicken parmesan, lasagna, and garlic toast, all in generous portions. The wood-fired oven pizza was indescribably delicious and is a must-try. I will definitely be coming back for more.

This restaurant serves the best pizza in town! The pizza is incredibly fresh, with just the right amount of sauce and toppings, and baked to perfection in the oven. The service is excellent, with a friendly and welcoming staff. Additionally, the grocery store offers a wide variety of Italian items, cheeses, and meats.

Well stocked store, better organized since my last visit. Reasonable priced. Quick service. Fresh vegetables and herbs. Gourmet foods too. Busy food eating area. Good home made style cooking dishes. The cakes options not so diverse as at Scarpone store.

Only been here a few times, heard the pizza was really good. And it was! Fire brick oven, can't go wrong. The gentleman working the oven knows everybody who comes in so it seems a good repoire is here with a lot of regulars coming by. Definitely a spot worth checking out for the pizza, and other Italian products.
