Bidra med feedbackThis is a nice place with a unique menu. The no of selections per category were less but very unique . Food was presented well and tasted even better . We had pork and tuna salad . The service was aamazing . Effecient and very...friendly . suitable for small.groups , however there was an area for larger groups 20 25 people Parking can be stressful but walking distance from the train station
We went after the stampede and it was quite full in it, but we had a good waiter. cocktails were fine, steaks averaged and expensive, poutine horrendous, economical tasteless. will not be disturbing.
Super disappointing! hostess telephoned and ignored us while we waited for our reservation and our table was not ready. to order 7 30 and they were already out of three. then ordered bottle 2017 wein and drank the half of...it and then recognized it was a 2019. when we asked the waiter about it, his answer was “captured” the barkeeper then on the table by trying to sell us a 2017 bottle for the double price. when we said that we ordered one in 2017, he said: “I have presented the bottle, they would have noticed it.” After dinner we ordered a liqueur, they were out again. overall the whole night was bad, dinner for 4 $600 for four entrees, two apps, two bottle wine, 4 cocktails. not the price worth eating was good, not great, service was bad and we felt as if the staff were less honest then. we were before and really enjoyed charcut, but we all agreed never again. there are much better places to eat in calgary for much less. this place has to deal with the personal and how they deal with the customers.
What a contempt. this restaurant is too expensive and consistently serves fair to poor foods. we always hope something has changed, but it never does. Earlier we thought we were just doing a bad night, but the odds are against it.
Business dinner with 2 colleagues after work. stylish room in a great location. excellent, attentive service by tiffany. ok weinliste. Unfortunately, eating was the right farewell for this visit. I had the 12 unzen prime rib and it was pathetic. it was tiny, and looked like it had been blown over by a tank. it was free from texture, really off putting (see photo.) that is a $63 share. we shared 3 pages and all three were not good. the kartoffelsuppli was tiny and dry, the rapini was microscopic, mushy, overboiled and not seasoned, and the economical, while well cooked, was seasonal. left disappointed and hungry. one of my guests ate when he came home (he also had the 12 unzen prime rib.)
