Carriage House Inn - Calgary

This long pub was redesigned and renamed a few years ago. Now called Peanuts Public House There are still several TVs around the room, all tuned to sports. The TVs are large but not close to as large as available today. The menu...offers have not changed much for years. The attraction decades ago was the steak sandwich, so I had to try. It used to be 8 ounces, tender, now 6 ounces, not tender. Sirloin, I'm sure. Manufactured medium rarely as ordered, but was gristle and chew. It came with a Caesar salad. It was hard on the anchovy, but that was fine with me. A small wire basket held the shoe ring fries. They were perfect. Price was $17.50, but I see it's $18.50 a month later. Barkeeper Jane's service was efficient. Will I go back? Why? Nostalgie.

This sports bar is also located directly in the hotel complex. Breaked in for a drink and Nibbles. The staff was very friendly. There are also outdoor seats.

Great daily specialties. the server are all so friendly and funny! the terrace is also very beautiful in summer.

We were both nights at Carriage House Inn. Great place, great staff, enjoyed both evenings, their wings are very good and the staff are very friendly and naturally enjoy their jobs. You'll get a tray of 3 peanuts on your table to hit it. We really liked this place and would go back even if not staying at the hotel.

Good selection of beers, atmosphere and excellent service make up for the limited food selection, but its good 'pub grub ' and fits the place well. Enjoyed 2 evenings here
