Enchanted Wood Cafe - Calderdale

We received a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at this restaurant. The food was fresh, tasty, and high quality. The prices were reasonable and we definitely plan on returning in the future.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered breakfast and found the bacon to be extremely salty. When I provided feedback, I was told that they wouldn't have known it was salty until someone tried it. I couldn't even finish my meal and will not be returning to this restaurant.

I stopped by for my first visit to have a quick drink and treat. The place was nice, but I found the cakes and tray bakes to be quite expensive for the portion size. Paying £5.99 for a small slice of dry cake seemed overpriced, and a small tray bake for £4.99 was similarly costly. There are other options in the area that offer better value, so I probably won't be coming back.

I had telephoned to reserve enough space for 10 people and when I arrived they had done the table beautifully with flowers etc and in a lovely position. All the food came at the same time and it was all very good. Staff were very friendly and nothing too much trouble. I think I’ve introduced a few regular customers!

New manageress has certainly changed things.very friendly staff and very helpful.good fresh food .cafe kept lovely and clean.delicous cakes and scones.well worth a visit now.
