Sirignano Wine Resort

Spent two nights here in May 2023 . Once you leave the highway to this resort , you are really in the country . Getting to the winery resort you have to travel a very uneven road to the top . Friendly check in , easy . Rooms are large with two rooms , one a sitting room with sofa bed , refrigerator, and desk . The bedroom was large with a desk and closet . The resort has beautiful views , actually Stunning . A huge swimming pool only few steps from the rooms . There was no lunch being served at the resort so we went into Alcamo the closest town , about 13 kilometers away. This winery grows organic grapes and produce wonderful wines. We took the wine tour one evening , it was informative and the owner was the guide . The three wines we tasted were all very nice . None of us were really red wine drinkers but we all enjoyed the reds that we did taste. We then had a three course pre fixe dinner . The starters were very good , but the the meat course fell short . The meat was tough but the wine was very good . The following day we went to Marsala and the coast, not to far away . At check out the receptionist wanted us to pay for our second night which we did in advance through our tour operator . I had my contract with me but she wasn’t accepting it . Finally she called the tour operator and found out I had indeed paid for our rooms in advance . I guess she felt bad about her behavior and gave us a bottle of wine I was about to buy . This place can be very relaxing .
